Cocoon will take a leading role in offering strategy solutions within digital communication for the Nordic markets, adapted for an increasingly digital audience. We are entering the market with advanced know-how within data-driven content production and digital video distribution strategies.
Account Manager - Role overview
As an Account Manager you are responsible of selling Cocoon’s digital marketing products. Together with other Account Managers you will create Cocoon’s client list.
Your mission is twofold:
- You are in charge of client lead-generation, concept development and pitch-presentation. The Account Manager is Cocoon’s representative with the mission to find and to develop long-term clients. Your job requires you to do need-analysis and identifying possible conceptual solutions for clients.
- As an Account Manager you are responsible for guiding the clients through their digital transformation and to cater to their identified needs. You will work in project groups where your focus will be to represent the original concept and agreements such as the voice of the client. As your job is to develop an in-depth relationship and trust with the client, your performance is also measured on all additional sales achieved for your account.

You should have:
- Proven success in selling concepts within media communication
- A strong interest in content marketing
- Strong understanding of, and prior experience in social media
- Experience in a fast-growth environment
- Proficiency with presentation tools; Keynote, PPTX
- Knowledge of Adwords/Facebook Ads
- A track record of hitting and exceeding quota as a sales rep
- Existing network of advertisers and marketing managers
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus
- Identifies, develops and typically closes new sales opportunities
- Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers
- Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account
- May conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies
